About Me

This first page is referred to as a "home page" or a "front page" and is typically the first page that new visitors to the site will encounter. It's nice to have large text that clearly labels the website and explains its purpose. In this case, its purpose is to show of your skills and experience! This is a great place to put the "About Me" paragraph, and perhaps even a photo or two of yourself looking professional.

Remember, the "about me" paragraph should provide a brief overview of your:

• education (major and minor and key courses if you choose)

• work experience (even entry-level jobs teach time management and professional behavior skills!)

• any other notable skills, accomplishments, etc. (languages spoken, software capabilities, any knowledge or skill that helps you stand out from a pool of applicants)
